Ovulation test but only positive for 1 day?

Hi!
I tested with the ovulation tests from Action last weekend. On Friday I had a faint line, Saturday a darker line (so positive), and Sunday a very faint line again. Can that be that it’s only positive for 1 day? Doesn’t the LH peak last 24 to 36 hours?

    And oh yes, I tested positive on Saturday morning, but due to circumstances, we only had sex on Sunday morning. Too late, right?

    My positive ovulation test also fades pretty quickly, just so you know. I had a positive test on Sunday afternoon and Monday morning, but by Monday afternoon the line was much lighter again. After a positive test, your egg releases within 24-48 hours, so in my opinion you weren’t too late. We had sex on the day of the positive test and two days later, so Sunday and Tuesday. And normally also on Thursday.
    Now we wait and see, good luck!
