Ovulation tests

Hi! Had a clear ovulation on July 7th. Tested positive with Action and Clearblue Digital. Now 5 days until my expected period. I've had this really weird feeling for a few days, nerves are through the roof! But now I've read a lot about using ovulation tests to detect early pregnancy. Haven't had time to go to the store yet but I'm super curious. Ovulation test was negative 2 days ago, and now 5 days before my expected period, a positive Clearblue ovulation test! Could this indicate pregnancy?? I know it sounds crazy but I just couldn't hold back anymore, would love to hear your experiences!!

    How do you know so sure that you ovulated on July 7th? On July 1st you said you were 4 days before your period, and on July 15th you're 5 days before your period? I don't really get it.

    An ovulation test also reacts to the hCG hormone, indeed. I had a lot left over from my last pregnancy, so I tested with both. The ovulation test turned darker a bit faster than the pregnancy test, but it also started with a faint line at 9 dpo. Of course, you only know for sure it's a pregnancy when you take a pregnancy test. So it can still cause confusion in the end. I tested with both purely out of curiosity. After that, the ovulation test went crazy, by the way. I used the one from Sensitest. Good luck and hope it's a hit for you.

    proud_mommy, because I had positive ovulation tests on July 7th. Last cycle was completely messed up. I'm just asking for a little kindness, it won't hurt anyone.

    I don't think I was unfriendly. I just asked questions? You had a thread on July 1st saying you'd need your NOD in 4 days. And now on July 15th you need it in 5 days. What's wrong with asking about that?
