Duuk, Sam, Olivier, Tom, Sef, or Stan

We're still deciding on names for our future son.
Here are the options. We'd love to hear your thoughts on this.

    I think Olivier is a really beautiful name. The most beautiful name in the list... I like names that have at least two syllables.
    Of the remaining names, I like Stan the best...

    Opinions are divided, so we're curious about your considerations regarding the name. Could you share a bit more about that?

    I find Olivier a bit of a trendy name and kind of crap.

    Tom and Stan are short, fun, tough names.

    Sam is a bit meh.. done after all the Sem and Sams.

    Duuk and Sef are names from now, there's a chance you'll still come across them.

    I think Sef is the prettiest name. Then Sam.
    Personally, I find Duuk the least appealing name in this list. Maybe because it reminds me too much of Donald Duck, or possibly because this name is completely unfamiliar in my circle.

    I like Tom the most! Down-to-earth and fun!
    Duuk feels a bit trendy to me, and also a bit "plain."
    I just don't like Stan that much.
    Sef is also a trendy name, but I do like it! How about Stef as an alternative?
    Sam is so common.
    Olivier has a high "pretentious" factor, so you'd have to like that.

    I think Tom is the cutest from your list!

    I don't find Duuk so beautiful. In my opinion, it's a bit trendy. I think Luuk is much nicer!

    Olivier is totally not my style. I find it a bit pretentious. But that's just my opinion.
    Sam is fine in itself, but nowadays a lot of girls also have that name. I think Sem or Senn are much nicer!

    Sef, well, you have to like it. Not my style. Not meant offensively, but I think it's more of a name for kids with tanned skin. I think the name actually fits better with that than with fair-skinned kids. But I don't mean it offensively, of course.
    Stan is nice and normal. Although I personally think Sten is nicer. But otherwise, nothing wrong with it at all!!

    I understand it's hard to make a choice!!

    I think Sam and Tom are quite ordinary. Duuk doesn't do anything for me... reminds me of the duke. Sef feels a bit off to me all of a sudden. I prefer Stan. Nice, short, clear. Olivier feels too... I always think about how your child has to learn to say and spell their own name.

    Our parents chose short names; I’m called An.
    I’d have preferred a longer name, I find them much more beautiful personally. That’s why I’m leaning towards Olivier.
