Hi everyone,

We're expecting a little one for our daughters Finne and Noor.
We don't know what it is yet.

Which names do you think would suit them?

Tijn for a boy and Benthe for a girl.

    Thanks, anonymous!

We already have a pretty good list, and these 2 will definitely be added!
Would love to get a few more comments without posting our list, it's quite the mix at the moment

Silje for a girl, Storm for a boy. Good luck with choosing.

    Olaf (boy) Saar (girl)

Silje, Storm, Olaf, and Saar don't really appeal to us. Storm is tough, but a bit too tough for our taste.

On our girls' list now there are four names, each with a 'downside'.
Fleur: Finne and Fleur both start with an F, Noor is the only one without an F.
Lenthe: Lente and Noor have a meaning in Dutch, Lenthe and Finne end in 'e'.
Juliëtte: (Zjuliejet): It's such a long name compared to the rest, and completely different!
Iebe/Ibe: Unisex name, ends in 'e'.

    Boys:
    Lenn
    Ties
    Jasper

    What do you think?

I think Jasper and Fleur sound nice.
We have 2 kids here whose names start with R, and we wanted the little one to have a different starting letter too.
Doesn't really matter though? You get used to the names.

    Good luck with the search!!

Yes, then I'll go with Dani! :-) in terms of choice

    Girl: Floor, Suus/Suse
    Boy: Thijn or Thijs

I personally also think Jasper and Fleur are the prettiest from your list (:
What do you think of Katia, Bliss, Tara, Milla, Rayna? (girl)
Or these: Milo, Sem, Finn, Adam, Lars? (boy)
Good luck with your search! xxx

I think Juliette is really beautiful. If our baby had been a girl, we would have given her Juliette as a middle name. As a nickname, I find it quite long, but you can make Juul, Julia, Jools, etc. from it, which is really nice. Later on, she can go in any direction with it and choose for herself whether she wants to use her full name or not.

Thanks! We're still a bit undecided, but I think I like Juliëtte, short Juul, just a little bit more than Fleur. Juul will be a nickname, not a call name.
May I ask what your son will be called?
