A dog name, rabbit, guinea pig but not for a human

I thought I had it figured out for special names, but when I read some of the posts here about baby names, I don't find mine that special anymore .

I'm really in favor of unique names, but I don't find these that pretty. Definitely not for a child. More like for a pet, indeed. Keep in mind that you're giving your child a name they'll have to carry their whole life. A name can seem very cute for a baby, but that baby will eventually be 40, and then it might be ridiculous.

Terrible. You get a baby and no tent.

As the other people above have already mentioned... I also don't think the name is really beautiful. I'm now more inclined towards a dog.

Reminds me of the TV show my kids watch: Tip the Mouse.

My friend's cat is named Tippi

I also really think it's an animal name.
Not a nice name for a baby.

I thought you were going to buy a Tippi tent for the little one when I saw your topic name

That's Tipi ;-) the Indian tent

But no, I wouldn't do it. I think Tibby is okay, but Tippi is not.

You should do what feels right for you, of course, but I think kids might use the name to tease them: "Hey Pipi" or "Tippi Pipi" or something like that. It's not my thing, but again, do what feels good.

It's true what Kaja says. I didn't phrase it well. I still don't think much of the name, but it's your child. Eventually, you get used to it. I also know a Jippe. At first, I thought it was a weird name. But the girl has such a lovely personality that I now associate it with something positive.
