Overdue

Hi there,

I've been over a week overdue and my pregnancy test is negative, and the blood test is also negative. Since today, I've had a little bit of bleeding when I go to the toilet. Could this still be from implantation? Normally, I get a lot of pain when my period is due... Could it be that I tested too early?

    When did you take the blood test? If the blood test is negative, there’s probably no hope left. Unless it was done a week ago.

    Hi there,
    On Wednesday I had my blood test done and the doctor said it's still too early, but you read all sorts of things..
    A friend of mine was like this for another 4 months and then turned out to be pregnant. I don't know..
    Headaches. Dizziness. Lower back pain.. No idea..

    Hmm, if both your blood test and pregnancy test are negative, I think you can safely assume that's the case—blood tests don't lie. It's quite common for your period to be different than usual or to be delayed. Your cycle can just get "out of sync" sometimes. Unfortunately, being "overdue" isn't always considered one of the first pregnancy symptoms. Just wait a little longer and test again in a few days.
