Trying to lose weight but it's not working?

Hi ladies,
Here’s a proud mama of 4 beautiful kids.
The youngest is almost 17 months now, and the other three are in groups 5, 6, and the oldest is in high school. So I think it's perfectly manageable My little boy is still breastfeeding, but I’ve noticed that I’ve gained quite a bit of weight over the past few months and am staying at the same weight while I actually still need to lose a few kilos.
Who else has this problem here?

Maybe you could adjust your eating habits a bit, possibly under the guidance of a dietitian. Although your son is still breastfeeding, at almost 1.5 years old he's not as dependent on it as he was when he was 6 months old. Also, the composition of your breast milk has changed, so adjusting what you eat and how much you eat should now have much less impact on him. Also remember that you need to move (a lot) more. That can be tough with 4 kids around, but try to take the bike instead of the car/public transport, take the stairs instead of the elevator, and cleaning the house extra times also burns calories. Ultimately, losing weight, as easily said, is a sum of how much you put in your mouth and how much of that you burn again.

Green tea capsules work really well. Take one every morning on an empty stomach, then have breakfast. You'll see results after just a week. You'll also need to move around a bit for the best results.

I went to the dietician to lose some weight after my first, for the second. I'm in the 2nd month now, and it's nice if your BMI is in a good range.
For me, it was mostly about the daily things like my breakfast. Lots of sweets and not much filling, so I had huge cravings around noon. So much that I ended up eating too quickly and again with sweets.
I now eat porridge with a little sweetness from fruit juice mix, a sandwich with peanut butter, and a cup of tea without sugar.
I'm also tracking my steps now; on the iPhone, under the Health section, you can see your steps. It was quite a disappointment how active you need to be to get around 8-10,000 steps.

Use a smaller plate in the evening to eat from; you'll fill it up less in the long run anyway.
