Can this happen right before the due date??

Ladies,
I was wondering, right before your period, can you still see 1 or 2 lines on the ovulation test?
For me, it's usually blank and the test line is just...
In the photo you can see 2. In real life, it's much clearer...
Normally, I should get my period on Thursday, but I have a really bloated belly. I also had some dark brown discharge on Sunday and today, but nothing more. (about 5 days before my period)
What could this be, according to you?

A faint line doesn't really mean much, I believe there's always some LH present. In my current pregnancy it was tested out, started with something like that and the ovulation test really picked up. So I think that's the most important thing if you want to draw any conclusions from it. In my case, the ovulation test was also just a bit darker than a regular pregnancy test. If you find it comforting, I'd try it again with an ovulation test tomorrow or the day after, and otherwise the day after tomorrow or so with a pregnancy test. Hopefully it's a hit, unfortunately have to wait a bit longer but hopefully a good sign
