No period, but still testing

Good evening ladies

If you have a very irregular cycle and your period doesn't come, when is the best time to test with ovulation tests?
Should you wait until your period arrives? Or can you do this earlier?

Anyone has experience with this?

Greetings, Ennii

I usually start ovulation tests 10 days after my period.

    Hi Orchidea,

But if your period is late (even though you normally have it), when should you start testing?

    Best wishes

That's hard to say, I'd just go by guesswork. Buy some ovulation test strips, they're not that expensive, a few cents per strip, and I always manage to find my LH peak with them. Pay attention to your cervical mucus, that can also indicate your fertile days. Good luck!
