Is there a chance now? Or did I just miss my egg? See photo

No worries. Sometimes it's better to take a day off. That way, the sperm quality is better. Good luck, girl. Who knows, it might just work out.

    I hope so!

I think you've got your sex schedule perfect! There was already some sperm ready for your egg. And after that, you sent some more sperm after it. Pretty good, right?

    Hope so!

Do you really need to test twice a day before ovulation? I only do it in the afternoon?

I don't think I would have done anything differently, honey! It's often around your egg, maybe the last time was too late, but you never really know. Sperm can live up to 5 days! I'll keep my fingers crossed...

That looks pretty good to me! Now, fingers crossed!

Anneke: I’ve also tested this round several times a day sometimes. On the day of my peak, I had a positive test in the morning, but a very clear peak in the afternoon. In the end, it didn’t make much difference though, because I already realized from the first test that it was a peak. But sometimes it gets even darker in just one day.

So I figured that maybe the last time was too late and we should’ve actually been trying the night before. Stupid, I can really be upset about that. But well, you never really know for sure. Now back to that awful waiting
@Anneke The test sometimes gets darker within a day. With me, it was a bit lighter in the morning and I hit my peak in the evening. It was like that last time too, but then I used a ClearBlue digital test, and there it’s pretty much a hard yes or no smiley. Whereas here I can clearly see the progression. And you can time it better.

Thank you for your responses. Do you test with first morning urine? For my miscarriage, I used Clearblue tests with first morning urine, and it worked perfectly for me. But now that I can't track my ovulation well, it's become too expensive to test every day. Now I'm reading that with sensitivity tests and Action tests, you shouldn't use first morning urine.

Anneke, they say it's better in the afternoon. In the morning, your urine is too concentrated. 2 hours after you've had something to drink.

Your egg will be released 24-48 hours after the positive test. If you have sex about 3 times a week, you're good to go. Healthy sperm can live for about 3 to 7 days.

If testing becomes too expensive or difficult, you can also check the position of your cervix to see how far along you are. Much more reliable.

@anoniem. Thanks for the tip, but that's a bit too much for me to have my fingers in it every day

You really don't need to test multiple times a day, and the time doesn't matter that much either. The most important thing is to have regular sex and not stop too early. If you test at the same time every day, you'll see the tests go from negative to positive. Maybe you haven't found your absolute peak yet, but if you've had two (almost) positive tests, you know your peak was somewhere in between. Your egg should release 12-48 hours after that, but it can sometimes be a bit later, so don't stop having sex too soon. With a 26-day cycle, we did it from day 10 to day 20, every other day. Usually, I hit my LH peak on day 15 or 16.

I can imagine that if you're only having targeted sex around your ovulation, you want to know exactly when your peak is and test extra, but I think you have a better chance just having regular sex.

    Hi ladies,
I've been thinking a lot about my ovulation day.
On the 14th day of my cycle, I had ovulation, which was visible on the ultrasound.
But at the same time, I'm bleeding quite a lot.
I've been active on the 11th and 14th days.
I'm going crazy; I've never experienced anything like this on my ovulation day—bleeding like a period.
