Who can relate to this?

Ilona36
Hi ladies.. I'm now 5 days into round 6.. but last week, on 12 dpo, I tested and it was negative. On 13 dpo my temp went down and on 14 dpo (last Tuesday) I got my period. I was on my period for 1.5 days. On Wednesday afternoon it stopped. Thursday nothing either. And yesterday I had quite a lot of brown discharge all day. I also have light stomach pain since the brown discharge and I'm nauseous with waves. So weird. If I count from my period on Tuesday, I'm now on cd 5.. I've never had this before. Does anyone recognize this?

Hey, I've experienced that too. My period was 5 days late and only lasted 2 days, whereas it usually lasts 4 days. I think it had something to do with a bit of stress.

That's true, but I don't have any stress
My period came on time here, 14 dpo. Not 5 days late. Thanks for your reply

I never really buy into all the stress talk. Seems like nonsense to me, especially if you're not experiencing any stress yourself.
You often read here that a period can suddenly be shorter, so it can just happen once. In March I had that too, but it turned out I was pregnant after all. If it happened to me again, I'd take another test, so maybe now in your case too. And if it's negative, then just accept that it was shorter this time and start counting again.

I've had a ton of stress over the years, up and down, unfortunately. So I know very well the difference between having stress and not having it. Luckily, no stress now
    Thanks Puck
Yeah, I'll wait a bit more today and otherwise yeah, just throw a test at it. But I don't think I'm pregnant. It's just a feeling haha.
How are you doing, Puck? Physically? Because I understand that mentally you're not feeling great right now and this time is needed to process everything. Big hug

    Thank you
Physically it's okay. It came out quite quickly on Tuesday and I don't feel any different than with a regular period. Mentally it's getting better too, but I still find it hard to let go. I'd really like to read here and find support because there are few people around who know about it. But I'm also getting really annoyed by the complaining about tiredness and pimples, and people who think they have to post a picture of their 'belly' after just one day overdue. I threw the forum off my phone this morning, but here I am again. I think I'm just still really affected by my hormones But anyway, it's really getting better compared to a few days ago. It'll be fine.

I hope you get surprised suddenly, and if not, that this coming month is the one!

Nice to read, Puck. It takes time. Everything will be fine with you
I haven't had a miscarriage, so in that regard, I don't know what it's like to go through that. But I do sometimes get annoyed by some posts too.
Hope it works out quickly for you here. And for you too, soon, and then a sticky one!
  7. Babytje4 #8

My Puck had it because of stress; the doctor said she had a lot of stress this month too.
  8. proud_mommy #9

The GPs say it could be due to stress, so it's definitely not nonsense. If you don't feel stressed, it's a bit different. But it CAN be caused by it.
What happened to you, Puck, is really unpleasant, but that doesn't mean you have to be angry at everyone. First in the January group, then the NOD group, then the belly bunch, and now here saying people complain. And no idea where else you're dumping your frustration.

Ilona36, I truly hope from the bottom of my heart that you're pregnant. That could also just be the case. Take another test and then we'll see. If not, I hope it works out for the next round. Lots of luck, dear girl.

Yeah, they told me stress can cause that too. But I'm not stressed right now
I'm sending my boyfriend to Action to get a test so I can rule it out. I don't think I'm pregnant. But then at least that tiny little doubt will be gone.
    Thanks, dear proud_mommy
  10. proud_mommy #11

Indeed, Ilona36, then you at least have that certainty, and then you can move on to the next round if it indicates negative.
  11. Puck #12

Acting angry at everyone? Well, I can indeed handle my frustration a bit less well right now. But just like others are allowed to complain about tiredness and pimples in their own topics, can't I say that I find it hard to deal with? I've consciously stopped reading those threads now (although it's difficult because you can't turn off the notifications), but am I not allowed to say how I feel here when someone asks me about it here?

I honestly said that I find that belly topic difficult and asked if it could be done differently. It's a shame that there's no understanding for that, from ladies who should be able to imagine that it's not pleasant. Maybe the OP of that topic didn't realize that there's a kind of division on the forum. What's the problem if I point that out and ask them to take it into account?

@Ilona: good to have certainty later. Who knows... but otherwise, good luck for the next round.
  12. proud_mommy #13

The way you're responding is a problem. You're coming across as really blunt. Okay, the topic doesn't belong there, then politely ask if she can remove it.
Calling someone from the January group anonymous as fake, while you have no proof. That girl was posting there for just a day. And telling Lin from the NOD group why she's making it difficult to have sex again, when she never said anything about that. Then you say she made herself unclear and she says she'll leave. And if you read it properly, it was very clear what she meant. Then you should recognize your mistake and apologize to that girl.
But I'm not going to argue or discuss anything further.

Ilona36 good luck, dear girl. I'll hear from you.
  13. Puck #14

Shouldn't we avoid doing this here, proud mommy? I've read it back in the "belly gang" thread and explained it extra. It's a shame that it's necessary, but okay. I personally found Lin's reaction quite exaggerated and unpleasant. Well... On a forum, you sometimes come across as blunter than you intend. Apparently, that works both ways.
Besides, I'm not really in the mood to be lectured now. This doesn't seem to be what Ilona intended this topic for.
  14. Babytje4 #15

The problem is solved, Puck. For that belly topic, let's keep it like this. I already have enough stress, and it's definitely not good for me right now in my condition. Good luck and strength, girl.
  15. Ilona36 started this #16

I did ask how Puck was doing, so she can answer honestly. I don't interfere in the rest of the topics...
Thanks, lovely girls. I hear the door opening again downstairs. My boyfriend is back. But I haven't peed in a while, hehe. I'll keep you posted. But it probably won't happen, haha
  16. proud_mommy #17

Sorry Puck, it wasn't meant to be rude or anything at all, and definitely not to lecture you. But I did find it annoying. I really hope it works out quickly and sticks. I don't mean anything rude.

Ilona36, sorry dear. It's exciting. With my son, I also thought no, it probably won't haha. Can't wait to see.
  17. Ilona36 started this #18

Nope... I already thought so. Can we continue?
  18. Puck #19

So sad! But now you really know for sure. I'm rooting for success in the next round for you.
  19. Ilona36 started this #20

Thank you, Puck! Yes, I hope so too
