Hi,
I’m getting a bit anxious about this, so I thought I’d ask here—maybe someone has good advice.
We’ve been trying to conceive for half a year, and I’m now a week late for my period. I’ve had brown discharge for about 5 days, and my pregnancy test is negative. I also don’t have any typical pre-period symptoms. There’s a little cramping in my lower abdomen, but the brown discharge is what’s really got me worried.
Anyone got any tips???

That's really tough, Michelle. I totally get your doubts. Brown discharge can be a sign of a blockage, but I'm not sure. Being a week overdue with a negative test is strange. I'd call your GP or midwife for reassurance or a blood test. That's safer than guessing. Strength to you.
