Pregnant or not

Hi everyone,

At the end of September last year, I got a positive pregnancy test after trying for 6 months. I was only 1 day late, but I felt in my whole body that I was pregnant. I had a very strange taste in my mouth, was constantly moody, 2 sips of wine went straight to my head, etc.

Unfortunately, I had a miscarriage just 2 weeks later.

After the miscarriage, I started on the mini-pill (Cerazette) because we want to wait a bit before trying to get pregnant again.

But, 3 weeks ago (in the 3rd week of my cycle), I forgot to take my pill for a few days. We were sexually active at that time. I’ve forgotten to take my pill before and then my period came immediately, whereas if I take it correctly, it doesn't come. This time I had a nagging feeling, but no bleeding.

I'm now at the beginning of the first week of my new cycle and I can't stop feeling pain in my nipples. I wake up at night when I lie on my stomach because the pain is unbearable. Just running my finger over them is enough to feel the pain. They are also harder, and there are moments when it looks like there are white and brown 'crusts' on them. I also have small bumps on my areolas.

I've also woken up from nausea for 2 nights in a row.

I took a pregnancy test yesterday, but it gave a negative result. Because I'm on the mini-pill and my period is absent, I can't say if I'm late.

I also don't have the same internal (emotional) and physical feeling as when I was pregnant the first time.

What are your thoughts or do you advise anything? Because honestly, even though we wanted to wait a bit longer, I was very disappointed by the negative result yesterday...

Oh yeah, I’ve also been having lower back pain for a week now (it feels like a heavy pressure on it). Some days are worse than others.

Hmm, I'd say it's probably your sister-in-law, but maybe it's just dirt on your nipples? Not meant offensively, but with this weather, it could definitely be that. I'd wash up and test again.

Yeah, I thought so too. But when washing, nothing came off. And I can have those crusty little things, and an hour later they're gone, then suddenly back again. Very weird. I'm at the doctor now, asking for advice and maybe getting a blood test...

You're kidding yourself, and you're even buying into it,
