Forum Pregnancy tests, ovulation and ovulation tests

Can you already feel after a few days that it's a hit?

Good morning.

I have a vague question. My partner and I are trying to conceive for our second baby. We had sex on Sunday night, which is roughly halfway through my cycle. I didn't take an ovulation test, but I do have an app. So, we had sex on Sunday night. Well, yesterday I was quite tired and lazy all day, went to bed early, and my lower abdomen feels sensitive. Could this already be a very early sign, or is it really all in my head?

Thanks in advance for your responses. Best wishes.

It’s all in your head. Although I do think you might have felt something early on, but more like at 6 or 7 days past ovulation. Maybe your egg was released earlier??

This seems very early to me, but a friend of mine had it twice where she knew for sure at 5-6 days, and both times it was correct.
Don't forget that everyone gets tired sometimes. When I was just pregnant (positive test), I was tired too, weird stomach, etc. But my friend had exactly the same thing and it turned out she wasn't pregnant after all.

I felt it too after a few days. I just didn't quite believe it, but when I took the test, it was really true.
I just felt something weird in my belly.

In the 14 rounds I was pregnant all 14 times.. well my body really acted like it but when I was actually pregnant I felt a week before my period really, really bad period cramps, so bad that I had to put in a whole big pad haha

I'm 6 days away from my due date, but last week (so the week of my expected ovulation) I had a whole week of period-like pain. It felt like a dull ache or cramps. Sometimes it felt so familiar, like I was about to get my period. It's only our first round, so I'm trying to be aware of things I'm convincing myself. But I really did feel this for a week. Since today it's getting better again, but for the past few days I've had very sensitive nipples instead. Especially when touched, even by regular fabric, they're sensitive. Again, it's only our first round, so I'm trying to make it clear to myself that it's probably nothing. But it's hard with these symptoms! I can really imagine what you're feeling right now!
