My man changed.

For some men, fatherhood only truly hits home when the baby is in their arms. And unfortunately, some only start getting involved when they can kick a ball with the baby because they don’t know how to handle such a tiny, fragile little human.
Men will never know what it feels like to be pregnant, the hormones that drive you crazy, or how they can make you see danger everywhere, or the extra pounds you have to carry around. The fact that you’re constantly reminded that someone from your body is going to come into the world and that you’re responsible for them.
I can only say, hang in there, and I hope that once the baby arrives, you two find each other again.

I don't know how long you've been together, but he must have shown this behavior earlier, right? I can't imagine he drank less or was very caring before the pregnancy. Did you ignore the signs? You know, not wanting to see it...
Honestly, I find it a bit disrespectful how he treats you. My boyfriend, on the other hand, would want to take on more.
I wish you lots of strength, girl! But don't let yourself be used like a doormat.

What I'm reading here is that he has absolutely no respect for you. I would have a conversation with him. If that doesn't work, is there someone who does have influence over him? I'd say this before the baby arrives. Wishing you lots of strength

    I haven't read everything.

No, this isn't our culture. This is his/your culture. You keep this up just to be there for him. Write down your boundaries, your expectations, and what you need. Tell him what has changed and what needs to change. If that doesn't happen, I'd consider divorcing. This is no environment for a pregnant woman and a baby.

Just scandalous. How old are you? And how long have you been together?

My boyfriend would do everything for me... I would get a divorce. Please, if you're not in her situation or aren't even pregnant yourself, you have no idea what you're talking about. Of course, her husband might be somewhat like that, but everyone is nice, sweet, and kind to each other at the beginning. As Falca says, every man experiences pregnancy and a baby differently. Maybe the guy in question will suddenly do everything after the birth, or maybe not at all, or only when the baby is a toddler—or never. You'll experience that then, but hormones can make things seem worse than they are, and you might see everything much more negatively right now than it actually is.

    Give it time and patience.

    What nonsense.

Yes, a man experiences pregnancy differently. That doesn't mean he can use you as a foot rag. This is neglect and psychological abuse.

Get out of here, this is really not going to get better once you've given birth and the child gets older.

Oh, well, you know her husband and their relationship. Once again, it's easy to judge from afar. Luckily, there are also clairvoyants here who can tell you that you should leave immediately.

A bit of common sense has that right. This behavior you're describing is unacceptable. That's no basis for a good relationship, especially not for a young family.
