I keep having bleeding?

Hi,

We've been trying to get pregnant since June 2018. I had a miscarriage on February 17th at 10 weeks. After that, I got my period on March 26th, lasting just 4 days like usual. Then on April 2nd, I got some bleeding again (it wasn't much and lasted maybe 2 or 4 hours). And today, April 12th, I first noticed a drop of blood when wiping, and every time I go to the toilet now it's kind of pinkish mucus.

What could this be? Is my body still adjusting from the miscarriage? Or is this really an implantation bleed or something? I should be ovating yesterday or today.. so I don't understand any of it. Has anyone experienced this?

    Hi,
It's hard to say. It could mean a lot of different things. Your body might still be adjusting, indeed. I had a few light bleeds (like you described) after my period and before ovulation. In 2 out of 3 cases, I ended up pregnant afterward (not sure if it was related), and the first time I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks. How did you know you should ovulate? By app, tests, or temperature? Do you have a regular cycle? Every body and every cycle is different, so I have no idea what it means for you. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a positive outcome!

    Hey,

Are you sure everything came out? Sometimes a piece can get stuck. Just call your gynecologist and get an ultrasound done, that way you'll know right away what's going on. Questions lead to uncertainty, uncertainty leads to stress, so just go and get checked out.

Definitely worth dropping by to check if everything is “clean” and usually they can also see which phase of the cycle you’re in, so you get more clarity.
