Stomach pain after miscarriage

Hi everyone,
I had a miscarriage exactly a week ago after 12.5 weeks of pregnancy. The baby stopped developing at 9 weeks.
I lost a lot of blood and have been lying in bed all day. But now I'm wondering, how long is it normal to have stomach pain? I still occasionally feel it getting a bit worse for a moment, then it goes away again. Kind of like cramps. And when I turn over in bed, I sometimes feel it too...
I have no idea how long this is normal, so I'm asking here. Thanks in advance!

Hey Liza.
First of all, lots of strength!
It's not surprising that you're still having some discomfort, but it really does vary from person to person. Some have almost nothing, while others are doubled over in pain..
After my curettage, I had a lot of trouble for a long time, including with bleeding. With the spontaneous miscarriage, everything was definitely over within 1.5 weeks. Maybe a bit of spotting, but otherwise nothing.
