    It doesn't seem weird to me if you have a good plan! Will he be involved in his life as a father? You should probably make arrangements for visitation rights and such, so you're on the same page about that. I think it's really valuable for a child to have a good relationship with both parents, especially when they live so close by, even if they're not together.

    It does seem weird... Think about how much uncertainty you're giving your child. Who's the dad? Find a stable and loving partner before you think about having kids...

    I’d really just think it over first, to make sure you agree on how you’re going to handle things like division and other important aspects of your child’s life. Especially writing things down on paper. I don’t know if it’s such a great idea to have a child with a good friend.
    It’s not weird to want children, nor is it weird to fulfill that wish in this way. But you really need to think about what it will mean for your child in the end.
