ZHi!
I need a few extra eyes for a moment. I'll briefly explain my situation:
I'm already 4 days late, which is very unusual for me since I always get my period exactly on day 28 of my cycle. So that's not the case now, and I'm also experiencing some other symptoms. Tender and sore breasts, cravings, fatigue, acne on my face, and mood swings.
I was pregnant a few years ago, so I do recognize the symptoms; I was very nauseous back then, but not now. Unfortunately, that pregnancy ended at 10 weeks
So I'm really unsure about this test and actually don't dare to hope.
Will you take a look? I think I'm seeing an evaporation line..

    I see a line!

I see it too! Congratulations, take it easy

Saw it too, but after 4 days it’s quite faint. Of course, that also depends on the type of test and what time of day you tested. I’d just keep testing, but there’s a line anyway congratulations, take it easy

I still see it, Flowie! It started like that for me too.

I see it too, flowie! Do you know when you ovulated (ovulation tests, temping?) If you don't know, it's possible your egg was released a bit later, which could explain why the line is lighter this far after your missed period. I'd test again the day after tomorrow (one day usually doesn't make a huge difference, but I know... it's hard not to test for a day). Good luck!

Yes, I see him too. I’ll congratulate you cautiously—hopefully, he’ll walk nicely!

At 4 days past ovulation, you'd expect a clearer line. So it's possible that your ovulation was later this time. If that's the case, the line should get darker. It's also possible that something went wrong right after implantation. In that case, the line will likely fade. Fingers crossed that the line gets darker!

Congratulations, I see the line. When are you going to test again?

Just take the test again? I don't see a line. And after 4 days late, the levels should be high enough by now. Also pay attention to whether you're using first morning urine or not. This can vary from test to test.

@ikke, what do you mean by "nuchtere urine"? I've never heard of that, not even during my time at the Urology department
  13. Moedertjuh #14

It had to be Urology, of course haha
  14. ikke Guest #15

Umm, morning urine. So without having consumed any water, drinks, or food. We always call that fasting

Your morning pee is just a bit more concentrated, so if you're using early detection tests before your missed period, it might be better to use morning pee since it contains more hCG. However, if you haven't peed for a few hours during the day and haven't drunk too much, you can test at any time of the day. Fasting urine doesn't really exist. Even if I eat 6 slices of bread before I pee in the morning... it doesn't affect the hCG levels. I already tested positive on afternoon/evening pee before my missed period. After your missed period, that should definitely be possible. These tests are so sensitive nowadays.
