Baby wish for a new blended family

Hi everyone,

I'm now a mom to a big toddler. Shortly after birth, my partner and I (very unexpectedly) split up. We went through a very tough separation, but now we have a good relationship.

I've been with a new partner for a while (almost 2 years). Things are going really well. He's also amazing with my son.

We both still want another child. Lately, I've been feeling a strong urge to try again.

I'm hesitating to go for it. I'm afraid it will change our current dynamic. That my son won't understand why he has to go to his dad, but the baby won't...

Has anyone had similar experiences? Can someone give me some advice?
