Cervical mucus

Hi everyone!

Since I want to get pregnant and just stopped the pill, I decided to observe my cervical mucus this month. I don't really know my cycle anyway. (I prefer to hold off on ovulation tests for now.)

According to my app (see photo), I should be ovulating today. However, my cervical mucus was very stretchy and clear the day before yesterday (two days before the predicted ovulation).

I just checked again, and today it's more creamy/cloudy and only slightly stretchy.

The day before yesterday, I thought I felt ovulation. A slight prick for about half an hour. Or maybe it's all in my head because I'm so focused on it.

What are your experiences? Did I ovulate the day before yesterday or today? How long after the stretchy/clear mucus does ovulation occur?

I did some DIY on Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday, and we're doing some more tonight.

Your app is based on an average person. So for many people, this date for ovulation will work, but certainly not for everyone. It's totally possible that your egg is released a few days earlier than the app indicates. Cervical mucus is a better indicator than an app

I don’t use my app that much either, I think I miss my egg too often. Only, I don’t get much wiser from my discharge. Is there anyone who keeps track of this and has (anonymous) photos on her profile? Hopefully I’ll recognize something then, I find the photos you get when you Google so made-up!
