Depression?

When your little one sleeps during the day, just sleep with them. I used to do that and still do. I still wake up to feed my son, and he’s 1. When I’m tired, I just sleep with him. Get some rest, girl. Enjoy your little one.

Yeah, I get it, but during the day she doesn't sleep that much... I just have such a hard time falling asleep... Today she's getting her shots.. hopefully she'll sleep nicely then and I can catch a nap in the afternoon too... I'm up and lying awake with restless legs since 2:00 AM, I go to bed every night at half past 8 already....

Do you have anyone who can keep an eye on her for a bit at your place? Something I sometimes did (not too often) – letting my son sleep next to me in bed. Because sometimes it’s just too much. Sometimes I held him all night long.

Magnesium can work well for restless legs!

That's so annoying, Lies! As Dior said, magnesium really does help.
I know from my mom (who has it really badly too) that she gets medication for it. I just don't know if they still prescribe it these days. What did the doctor say?

I got a referral for the psychologist. I have restless legs, so I'm getting medication... Sifrol. Tomorrow I'm having blood drawn to check for possible vitamin deficiencies. I already have an appointment with the psychologist... finally taking steps forward. And I downloaded a mindfulness app. It really helps me. I'm also going to do yoga to relax more... I asked my husband for more help yesterday, which also helped, and my youngest daughter, 8.5 weeks old, slept from 9 PM to 4 AM, had her last bottle at 6:45 PM.

That’s great that you’re taking steps forward now! I hope the medication helps. It’s also good that you’ve asked your husband to help more. And from 9 PM to 4 AM is a long stretch. I hope you start feeling better soon with these steps.
