Waiting takes a long time..

Just gonna vent a little bit. My husband and I recently decided that we're ready and want to go for it. However, I still have a sporting trip planned (running, cycling, canoeing, and hiking abroad) in early April. Since this is a vacation that takes a lot out of me, we want to wait until after the vacation to actually start.

But once you've decided you're going to do it, it's really hard to wait those last 1.5 months. I never thought I'd have such intense, rattling ovaries from one moment to the next Hopefully April will be here soon...

    Hey, I know what you can feel. We decided in November to go for baby #3, but after the first failed attempt, my husband wanted to wait until he was fully ready. Now he's completely ready, and we started trying in mid-February, but until the next ovulation, it feels like it's been months. Good luck to you both.

    That's so nice of you to reply. Yes, once you've got it in your head that you want it, you'd rather have it yesterday than today! Good luck to you both. Hopefully, it'll happen soon!

    Yes, from November until now it was a long wait, but better to wait a long time and have him fully there than not. I have my appointment tomorrow, so my first round is in early March. I'll keep you updated and hope you'll get pregnant soon too. Do you already have kids or not?

    Sounds exciting... I can imagine the time has been dragging by slowly these past months.
    We don't have kids yet, so this will be our first. That makes it even more special. I hope the time flies by quickly
