We're considering Ebbe, what do you think?

    I don't know the name, even though it's an existing name.
    But the name isn't too short, not too long. It doesn't come across as a makeshift name either.
    I'm thinking of: tide and ebb(e) and ebony.
    A powerful name.
    I like it.

    @Debbie thanks, we looked him up and in the past 3 years there have been 6 Ebbe's in Flanders, so he's unique without being too special in my eyes. Since my partner has a pretty long last name, we were consciously looking for a short first name.

    Never heard of it. But it does sound not too fussy, and I find it quite nice and original!

    Great name. In my opinion, it sounds like names such as Abe.
