I don't know anymore!
My last period started 2 days early.. I had just tested a positive line a couple of hours later and suddenly had bleeding, only it was clear, but not little or anything.
The period before that was 2.5 weeks late. I always had a regular cycle. Until these two periods. Yesterday I lost old blood, just took a test so no morning urine because I suddenly felt very nauseous and a clear line appeared, is this line then a reaction to ovulation?
We are not trying "conceive" and don't have much sex or anything. Is there a chance that this is a positive test and the last period wasn't a period?

    Roxie, this test really does look positive... I think I can cautiously congratulate you.
    I'd do another test on Sunday and then see if it's clearly rising.

    Then you'd indeed be about 6 weeks along, and you should expect a clear positive test by then.
    That's weird...
    I'd call the OB/GYN.

    @Nancy yeah, I thought so too. I find calling the OB a bit nerve-wracking. but maybe it'll be handy for the weekend.
    @anonymous. I'm not bleeding anymore, just a few drops of old blood yesterday.

    Called the midwife. She said I should test again on Monday. If it's not a clear positive, she wants to do an hcg injection... to see if there's even any hcg at all. Well, without hcg it couldn't be positive, so she's contradicting herself there.
    She wasn't sure what to make of it either, since the test is so negative. It could be because it wasn't morning urine. But my previous pregnancy was a clear positive at 6 weeks.

    And if you're two weeks later than expected, it all adds up.

    Two weeks later wouldn't be possible, we haven't had sex since then. And I clearly felt my ovulation.
    I just took another test, couldn't help myself. If this had been with morning urine, it could have been positive.

    Your link isn't working.

    If you think it really can't be anything else, I'm assuming the worst. But it could definitely be different. Sperm can live up to 7 days. You might have ovulated later. Your egg could have been floating around for another week.

    I really can’t believe it could have been successful.
    I’ve always been told that I’d have reduced fertility. And now with those weird cycles – one positive test and then a heavy bleed – could I still be pregnant? I guess I’m not quite believing it yet. And after reading the messages above, I don’t really have much hope for a good outcome either.
    Had some bad stomach pain this morning.
    Still no idea how I’m going to tell my husband.

    Would that intense bleeding from 2 weeks ago have been implantation bleeding? Instead of my period, which was 2 days early..

    The bleeding is a bit weird, yeah, but your test is definitely showing a good rise... that would mean your hCG is rising nicely.

    Congratulations, girl! He's really quite dark. I never tested around 6 weeks myself. Only at 5 weeks, and then it was a bit darker. But everyone produces different amounts of hCG. It could have gone wrong, but it's not certain at all. There are those charts with hCG values per week, and you can see how much the minimum and maximum values vary. Just Google it.

    I'm getting a lab form sent to me. Although I still can't quite grasp it all. I'm afraid it might be a miscarriage because the levels aren't rising as much as they should.
    It's very welcome, but we just started a new job and have renovations that need to happen first before we can take care of two kids. They'll be big, that's for sure. But it's a bit of a stretch..

    So Bc gives 2-3 weeks.. Tomorrow I'll have blood drawn, hoping to have the results by the end of the day, otherwise Thursday.
    My man handled it really well.
