Getting pregnant as someone with back problems

Hi everyone,
I'm Noël and I'm 24 years old, my boyfriend and I are busy 'getting ready' for our first pregnancy.
Since the end of November I've stopped taking the pill and was almost immediately on a good cycle (28/29). I've also had 2 ovulations already and I'm now around my 3rd. For the last 2-3 days I've been having quite some lower abdominal pain and I've had watery discharge.
I've been a back patient for a long time due to a herniated disc and a slipped vertebra has fixed my lower back. I'm quite nervous about how my back will hold up through all this. I have pain every day and I'm afraid it's going to get worse and I'll end up lying flat. My doctor says I'll probably get pregnant but that it's going to be quite a journey. It's nice to hear other stories so you have some sense of direction!
I'd love to hear more stories! I also really enjoy reading about first pregnancies. I think I've read all the forums 4 times already haha.
Greetings!

Hi. I have scoliosis, haven't had surgery, and have worn-down vertebrae at the bottom. My physio said that with pregnancy I could end up in a wheelchair because my back wouldn't be able to handle it. I haven't seen a wheelchair and haven't had much extra pain.

    Hi,
These are lovely messages! Glad you got past that wheelchair! Sounds pretty scary if your physio says something like that to you..
The worn-out vertebrae sound very familiar to me; the rest of my back is slowly worsening too, so more surgeries are likely coming my way!

    Greetings
