    Not really me, but names are personal anyway. It's a feeling. So who knows... if you find it beautiful, who's to say someone else won't?

    I think it's super cute! I also think Muse/Muze and Zus are really beautiful. Maybe those are some nice ideas?

    Merel, Arend, and Zwaan can also work, so why not Mus??

    I wouldn't want to be called that myself. Think of the animal right away.
    Merel is indeed also a name, but I also find it more of a name-like word.

    Just in case someone says that swan and so on can also be used? No, this is not nice; you don't name your child pot or pan or cat or hamster either.

    Zwaan(tje) is definitely an (old) name, but I don't think it's given very often anymore. But personally, I agree—I wouldn't name my kid Mus either, nor Poes, Hond, Kolibrie, Papegaai, or Vlinder etc... haha
