It's a girl!!

Had an extra check-up with a midwife today because I was a bit worried about my fluctuating blood pressure and whether the baby was growing well. Had a detailed ultrasound and found out we’re expecting a baby girl! Our big girl weighs 224g and is about 18 cm long :-)
Her head and body are on track for 17w5, but our girl has long legs (18w2).
It’s been our dream to have a daughter, and we already have a son and a stepson, so we’re super happy!

    Congratulations!!! Did you also have a 20-week ultrasound where they double-check the gender again? Or was it already super clear at this scan? We had that at 16 weeks they thought it was a girl, and at 20 weeks it turned out to be a boy after all

    Congratulations on your baby girl!!! So lovely that you already have two boys running around the house!
    Here it's also a girl and our gynecologist told us this already at 12 weeks based on how she was positioned etc. She said I'm 80% sure this is a girl (she's the one who checks everything for abnormalities etc like heart and blood vessels and down syndrome and such). We didn't want to believe it then but at 16 weeks nothing to see she was in the wrong position and at 20 weeks with great difficulty we could peek between the legs and there we saw the coffee bean as they call it here The 3 stripes amazing how early you can sometimes see that.. our girl is a month behind schedule with length weight she was at 24 weeks at 600 and a bit grams and length she was already 35cm but it can all even out in the end he And you have a really nice photo of your girl!!

    Went to the gynecologist today for the 20-week ultrasound, and both the assistant and the doctor themselves saw a girl! So I think we can be pretty sure now, yay!
    She's a bit chubby too, she weighs 395 g already Everything else looks good, no cleft lip or spina bifida, so we're relieved again.
    On to the next 20 weeks
