very faint line

Hi everyone,
I had a miscarriage on Dec 23 and lost the baby. It turned out growth had stopped at 7 weeks and 4 days. After that, I bled for a bit over a week. We got the green light then to try again, but the midwife said it was better to wait for the first period, though it wasn't strictly necessary. Since then, I've been testing my hCG levels to see if they're slowly disappearing. With the Kruidvat tests, it was basically gone, and later tests were just white. But this morning I used the Action test, which you can use 4 days earlier, and it showed a very faint second line. You have to look closely, but it's there. I spoke to the assistant at the GP's office and she doesn't want to do a blood test for hCG; she says I should just wait. I haven't had my first period yet, but I'm already feeling symptoms again. Last week I had a lot of headaches and pressure in my head, and I feel a bit bloated. I also had quite a lot of clear, mucus-like discharge, so it doesn't feel like I've had my cycle yet. I'm so unsure. Is my hCG still in my body, or am I pregnant again?

That's totally possible! I got pregnant right after my miscarriage too. Once you see the line getting darker, you know for sure. Now you have a baseline, so drawing blood really doesn't add much value—you can just see it with your tests. Good luck!

    Hi clautjuh
Okay so it's no use going to the doctor, I wanted to try early tomorrow to see if they'd do it now, but then we'll just keep doing tests. I did one this morning, when's the best time to do another one? Did you not get your period after the miscarriage either? I don't really know how long I should wait, my cycle was 34 days during my pregnancy, they told me when I came for my first check-up, so I'm now wondering if I'm testing too early.

I had ovulation 4 weeks after my period, which means I got pregnant. So no period either. My tests were actually running every day. I just couldn't resist not testing for a day. I tested as early as 9 dpo and it was already very faint positive.
