Personally, not nice. Just like the names of Angela's kids, I guess... but if it feels right for you guys... I'm not really into names derived from normal words, objects, or flowers. -

Not pretty....
I'd go for Mees then. Although that's more of a boy's name.. But Mijs or Meis really aren't pretty.
Choice is personal of course.
