Hi!
Last month (now 2.5/3 weeks ago) I didn’t get my period. Pregnancy test was negative. Today I wanted to use an ovulation test and it was positive even though I shouldn’t be ovulating.. see photo.. I also have a bit of brown discharge for 2 days now which is weird too...
How can this be, does anyone have any idea?

The ovulation test is considered positive if the test line is equal to or darker than the control line. So, this one isn't positive yet.

It could mean two things: either you're heading toward your LH peak, in which case you should keep testing—you'll see the line get darker before it fades. Or you might actually be pregnant, since tests also turn positive during pregnancy. In that case, the line will get darker and won't fade like it does around ovulation.

    Hi Clautjuh,
    Thanks for your reply!
Wednesday I'm seeing the gynecologist... I'm curious.
It would surprise me on one hand that there's suddenly going to be ovulation, even though I'm experiencing some brown discharge...

Or as you approach ovulation or if you're seeing some old blood, I think you'll just get your period. With many women, there's always a faint line visible.

This one is definitely not positive. The line needs to be at least as dark as the control line.
