What were your first symptoms?

Hi ladies,
I'm currently trying for my first baby. I was wondering about the following things:
- What were your earliest symptoms?
- How many days DPO or before your period was this?
- When did you test positive?

Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences!

7 DPO (7 days before my expected period) I had cramps on the lower left side of my belly and lower left back. Presumably implantation pain. From that moment on, I got short periods of mild nausea that got a bit worse each day. Never threw up. What was also noticeable (but I don't think it's really a symptom) is that my breasts weren't sensitive at all, whereas they normally are from ovulation until my period.

Looking back, I noticed during ovulation that it felt different, maybe that was the first 'symptom', but well, that's fertilization and technically not yet a direct pregnancy.
On 14 DPO (4 weeks pregnant, this was 3 days before my expected period) I tested positive (a fairly clear positive).

Actually from the beginning, tired, tired, and even more tired. Seven o'clock to bed is no exception for me...

Just period cramps, about 5 days before I was supposed to get my period. This was only with the first two kids, though; with the third/current pregnancy, I didn’t have any issues. Other symptoms didn’t start until week 6, but they did last until week 20.

    Thanks !

Right now I really feel everything! We'll see this weekend whether it's symptoms or my body playing tricks on me ...

Fifi, I think I'm in the same boat
I'm now 2 dpo and have been having little twinges on the right side of my lower abdomen since Sunday, plus one breast that's a bit sore on the side. Suddenly got back pain this afternoon... But I don't think this could be anything yet, right?

    Hey Nemo,

I think 2dpo is indeed a bit early. I'm at 10dpo today and have been feeling the following since Monday:

    Monday 8DPO:
    - Cramps and stabbing pains in my lower belly
    - Lower back pain
    - Slept very poorly, restless all night
    - Diarrhea

    Tuesday 9DPO:
    - Still lingering cramps
    - Still back pain
    - Less appetite, or at least not for the food I brought to work
    - Gurgling intestines, but no more diarrhea

I took a test in the evening, but it was negative.

    Wednesday 10DPO (today):
    - Still a very unpleasant lingering pain in my lower belly and back.
    - Sometimes a sudden wave of nausea, but it goes away after a few seconds.
    - Still gurgling intestines

Sunday is my expected period, so we'll see this weekend !

    Hi Fifi,
Hopefully you can test on Sunday/Monday, I'm rooting for you!
I'm not sure exactly when my period is due because I'm not very regular

I tested positive at 11 DPO in both my pregnancies.
In my first pregnancy, I had sharp, aching pain above my pubic bone starting from 9-10 DPO (seemed like round ligament pain), and white 'clumpy' discharge. That was basically it.

This time around, I didn’t have any stomach pain or anything. Actually, no symptoms at all except for those white clumpy discharge again. But there was this feeling hanging over me that I wanted to get rid of. So I took a test anyway, and it was positive.

Exciting! I'm cheering for you too!
My first symptoms were also very early. 5 dpo I had stomach cramps and a muscle soreness feeling, and from that day on, I had vivid dreams, which lasted throughout the whole pregnancy. A few days later, my breasts became tender. I tested 2 days after my missed period. 5 dpo was when implantation happened, we found out with the ultrasound. It's very early, but it can happen.

HereWeGoAgain, now that you mention it, I've had some white 'grainy' discharge for a few days, and this morning when I wiped after peeing, there was a clump of white discharge.
I'm no expert when it comes to discharge, so I don't know what kind of discharge means what, but hopefully it's good news .

I only tested 1 day after the BFP (but we had decided to let it go a bit, so I wasn't keeping a close eye on it. My test was really a clear positive, I probably would have tested positive a few days earlier). Looking back, I had already been saying for a week that my hips felt so heavy and painful. Until today, that, along with the unbelievable must be, has been my only constant complaint. I hope you get good news!

I'm currently in the doctor's waiting room.
This morning I urinated 5 times in an hour and there was blood in my urine. It's painful...

@Fifi: I don’t know either how much it specifically points to a pregnancy, but for me it was always THE sign. It’s also something that doesn’t go away for me I still have it now and it’ll probably last until delivery. It was the same last time.
    I’m rooting for you!

Last night after sex I had some pink discharge with dried blood flakes.
Now I’m going completely crazy !!!

Well... I didn't have any complaints at first. I took the test 2 days after I was supposed to get my period and it was positive. After that, I was super nervous, slept badly, and was therefore tired. And from week 5... when the huge heatwave in the summer started, that's when the complaints began! Nausea and growing breasts! And up until today, discomfort... from nausea to heartburn... always tired... and for the last 2 weeks, lower back pain and buttock pain on the left have started... Ah... I'm pregnant, so I'm willing to put up with it.
    Good luck to everyone!

The cavities next to my nose were so swollen inside that I couldn't breathe! And 6 days before my period was due, I felt like I was going to get my period IMMEDIATELY, and the next morning I tested and it was positive!! I also had months where this wasn't the case and I still got my period after a few days.

My first symptom was that I didn't get my period.

By the way, it's also a lot more relaxing if you're not so focused on symptoms and just wait until after your NOD test.

    Eves,
I know it doesn't matter whether you feel things or not, it won't make you more or less pregnant.
I got my period this weekend and I'm really going to try not to focus on it too much in the coming month.
I'm also not going to use ovulation tests this month, so I won't have the chance to start counting when my period is due.
Hopefully that will help me relax a bit

Hey sweet! My due date is Jan 29. And from 4 days past ovulation until now, I've been having crazy dreams/nightmares every night. And I remember them all too! During the day I'm tired and moody and have no energy. I read that you had dreams too and stuff! I'm really curious if I'm pregnant now....
