Ivy

Hi everyone!
I’ve been in love with the name Ivy for years and have always said (even before I met my current husband) that if I ever have a girl, I’ll name her Ivy.
Now, my husband already has 2 kids from a previous relationship, and one of his daughters is named Eva.
(Btw, the name Ivy looks great with his other daughter’s name!!)
I also have 1 daughter from a previous relationship, and Ivy fits well with her name too!! So it’s really just about whether it’s okay to have both an Eva and an Ivy in one family.
What do you think—should we just go for it?? Or no, does it really not work together??

    Just do it.
    I'm fine with that.

No problem, I think so. I find the pronunciation too different there.

    Thanks everyone!
We’re just going to do it!
My ex absolutely didn’t want Ivy, even though it’s always been my favorite name! My 4-year-old daughter is named Liv, which was my second choice back then!!
My current husband loves Ivy so we’re just going to go with it.
