Hey, here’s another message from me. My previous post was about how I didn’t feel so well two weeks ago and was only nauseous, but that’s over now. However, I was supposed to get my period last Sunday, and up until now, nothing (though I’ve had very light cramps since Sunday). On Monday, I tested, but it was negative. This was one of those early tests from Action, and now I’m thinking I want to test again on Saturday. I’m really just obsessed with this in my head at the moment.

I’ve also told my boyfriend that I want to take another test on Saturday... He “hopes” that there’s nothing wrong, which I also find quite sad to hear because we both chose to stop the pill together. So here I am, super nervous until Saturday, and then hoping it’ll be positive. But even then, I’m quite scared of my boyfriend’s reaction or whether he’ll actually be happy about it.... How long did it take for your tests to show positive?

    It can vary a lot from person to person. It also depends on how early implantation occurred, if there was a fertilization. In my case, the test was already slightly positive a week before the expected date. But well, what I'm saying might not be accurate; maybe I had an early implantation.

    Thanks, flower! Yeah, I find it all so exciting, especially because it's our first baby. So we'll just wait and see! Terrible, that ignorance.

    Hey girl, for me it went smoothly and I got a positive result on the first day of my missed period. But in November we also decided to try for a third baby, and unfortunately, it was negative. I saw that my husband seemed relieved, and he said he wanted to wait. Now I'm in a phase of wondering if I still want another one or not, because I was so disappointed by his reaction. Right now, I'm not taking the pill anymore; we're using the calendar method with condoms. I hope he changes his mind quickly before I do.

    Hey, just needed a little break. It's so sad to hear that!! Yeah, mine has always said he wants kids, but he's hoping for a bit more time to get used to the idea (they've been together for 11 years). So I really hope it's true, even though he's hoping it'll happen next summer. I hope your man changes his mind soon because I totally get the feeling of being alone in this, and I'm the only one who's happy we're pregnant. I think I'll do a test tomorrow to see if there's more to it. I just can't let it go, but who knows, maybe my cycle is just a bit longer this month. But I really hate this uncertainty.
