Hi everyone,
I just have a quick question.
It's been a week since I had sex with my boyfriend,
and it wasn't safe due to antibiotics.
Now, a week later, I've got light pink bleeding and severe cramps.
What do you all think about this? Is it all overblown or not?

    Hi Sil,

    It could be implantation bleeding. In that case, you might be pregnant. You can only really know for sure by taking a test.

    Let us know?

    @Sil,
    The test gives certainty, just like Evelien says..
    Let us know if you're pregnant, yes or no..
    And, do you really want a baby and does it fit into your life situation right now..

    Hi Evelien and Ju,
    Can implantation bleeding happen already after a week?
    My normal period is due in 12 days.. Should I just wait until I'm late or test right away?
    Ju,
    I'd really like it, but whether it fits into my life situation..
    I'm 18 years old & still in school..
    Greetings, Sil

    I mean, could implantation bleeding happen after just a week? Haha

    @Sil,
    Implantation bleeding is usually around day 10...
    So it's quite hard to figure out.
    But if I understand correctly, your body isn't set up for the arrival of a baby yet...
    What do you want yourself, and have you let your boyfriend know about a possible pregnancy?

    Good luck, girl...

    Love, Ju

    I'm not past day 10 yet... I'm on day 7.
    No, my life isn't really set up yet, but my boyfriend knew right away.
    He said from day 1 that it would probably be okay, that it might just be a false alarm.
    And now that I'm also on day 7, I'm starting to think it's probably a false alarm too.
    Should I test again in a week just to be sure?
    Greetings, Sil

    @Sil,
    Yeah, sounds good to me, but you never know.
    Next time, maybe be a bit more careful, okay?
    Good luck with your studies, and when you’re pregnant, I hope you can sort out everything at school so you can finish your studies and be happy with your baby and partner, and that you’ve completed your studies.

    Love, Ju
