ok.. this is my own fault, I know it. But I just need to get it off my chest.

I stopped the pill and November 27th was the first day of my period. My husband and I had sex before pulling out, which isn't very reliable, I know, but whatever. On December 8th we had sex for the last time where he didn't pull out in time..

I really wanted another baby and now suddenly panic sets in. I had calculated that I would be fertile this weekend, counting 2 weeks after my period, but I realize you have to count from the first day of your period. I know it, stupid stupid stupid.. because why would you stop the pill if you don't want to get pregnant..

My question is how big would the chance be that it worked.. oh well you guys can't really tell me that either. But I just need to vent, has anyone ever felt like this??

I always thought I wanted a third one and now suddenly I think yes but 2 is easier and they're still little.. suddenly doubt sets in.

Greetings Romy

I was trying for 14 months, never used the pill, almost always left the church before the sermon, and still tried to get pregnant for 14 months.. I don't know if this will help you, but well, I no longer believe that you can accidentally get pregnant. I know it does happen sometimes, but well, that's just fate.

    Thanks for your reply, anonymous.

Yeah, that's exactly it. With my previous two pregnancies, I got pregnant almost immediately. It's like, sure, you'll see when you really don't want it—it happens right away. Of course, it's not unwanted or anything, but I realize now that I'm just not ready for a third one. There's no other option than to wait until around Christmas, I think. I normally always have a 28-day cycle, so something like that.
