Pregnant?

Hi ladies,
I'm currently 3 days overdue.
I've taken a few tests, but they're all negative.
I've had some fatigue and headaches for a few days, I'm also very emotional and have an indescribable feeling in my belly.
I think I might be pregnant, but every test says negative. Could it still turn positive? Or is it all in my head?

    Normally, if you're pregnant, you should get a positive test by 3 days overdue. There are very rare exceptions where a woman tests positive later, but I wouldn't count on that. The symptoms you're experiencing could be due to being so focused on it, which can make your body play tricks on you. I've read so many stories about women who were overdue, felt all sorts of things, and then still got their period. I hope you're still pregnant, but the chances are slim given your negative tests.

    I only tested positive after a week past my due date.

    I've read stories like that too, so I don't want to lose all hope yet, since I'm now experiencing other symptoms that I don't usually have around my period. It's Thursday now and I'm 7 days late. I'll take another test then, hoping it will give a clear answer!

    Yes, sure! Tested again this morning.. still negative. I'm Thursday 1 week overdue, if I still test negative then I'll definitely call the gynecologist for a check-up. Most symptoms have already faded, only still headache, and tired in the evenings, also very sensitive to painful nipples when touched.
    I hope that I'll test positive like you do but I'm starting to doubt.
    The uncertainty is mainly getting on my nerves, I'd rather be pregnant and know what I'm dealing with than this uncertainty.

    I totally get you. If you still haven't gotten your period by Thursday, it's definitely a good idea to pop by your GP or gynecologist.

    Hi ladies,
    I went to the GP yesterday and had blood drawn. I'm already 7 days late, but the blood test was negative. So I made an appointment with the gynecologist to find out why my period is still missing.

    Not really more than usual, yeah, it was a bit of a downer. Now hoping that I'll be back on my feet soon so we can move forward.

    Anonymous: if you haven't gotten your period in 2 days, test again. HCG doubles every day. Unfortunately, it's also possible that your test was a false positive and you'll still get your period.
