to find out that your husband had contact with another woman 6 years ago

Ladies, a completely different question here. I’m a mom of 2 kids and only found out yesterday that my husband tried to flirt with another woman 6 years ago. That woman warned me via a message 6 years ago, but I only just found it yesterday. She said, "Leave your man, he’s deceiving you, he tried with me. Leave, you can do better." Now we’re very happily married, and I’m also pregnant with our third child. What should I do now? What would you have done in my situation?

Hey girl. Congratulations on your pregnancy. I don't think I would confront him with something that happened 6 years ago. It could also be someone who wanted to drive you apart back then. You've got plenty of those kinds of people. Enjoy your husband, your kids, and your marriage. Don't let them get to you.

Hey, I was in your situation too. A woman tried to break us up. As soon as she found out we were married, she contacted me and said all sorts of things that weren't quite true. She claimed my husband was there that day, but when I checked my calendar, I saw she was lying—he was with us all day. Jealousy can sometimes make people imagine things. I asked her about everything, and nothing was very accurate. Now she's leaving us alone, maybe she's realized she was being foolish. That woman of yours might be jealous because you're happy now and starting something new with someone else. Enjoy your life now and leave the past behind. And congratulations.

And maybe your husband is a jerk. That option is just as likely as the option that some jealous woman wants to ruin your marriage. The question is, did you see any signs over the past few years that you might have ignored? And can you just forget about this post? Personally, I wouldn't be able to, and it would keep bothering me in the back of my mind, which is why I'd just have a conversation with my husband.

Thank you, ladies, it's super that you're helping out so much.
Yes, it's indeed been too long, and I also think that woman was jealous. I'll follow your advice and enjoy our little family and my pregnancy.
    Thanks also for the congratulations.

For your own peace of mind, just tell your husband: "Hey, look at this crazy message I got" or something like that. Don't assume right away that something's actually wrong or anything. But it might be a relief to talk it over with your husband (and maybe laugh about it later). Enjoy your pregnancy, it's so special.
