Hi,
Are there any ladies here who know when you are completely hormone-free after having an IUD removed?
I had mine taken out 2 months ago because I want another child. It had been in for 5 years.
I've been having a really hard time this past week with oily skin, mood swings, stomach pain...

In principle, once the IUD is out, those hormones leave your body pretty quickly. What you're experiencing is that your body has to start regulating itself again after 5 years. That can take a few months. But you can definitely get pregnant. -
