    Unfortunately, there's nothing else you can do but wait. If you were implanted now, you should get a positive test in a few days. Or your period will come. I hope you get some clarity soon.

    thanks for your quick reply
    But can implantation happen so late? And if it's just my period, should I wait until the next time I'm supposed to get my period, or will it follow immediately if there's no pregnancy?

    Have you already stopped using contraception? Do you normally have a regular cycle? If your ovulation was later this time, you'll also get your period later. Who knows, maybe your ovulation was later. Your cycle would only start again when you actually start bleeding. So don't count it too quickly as day 1 of your cycle.

    I stopped taking the pill in June this year.
    Soon after that (from July), I got a regular cycle of 28 days.
    Using an app, I can see when I should get my period, and it's always been accurate, except now.

    Unfortunately, more is coming out than just "old brown."
    Hopefully, we'll have more luck in the next round.

    Yeah, sometimes your cycle can be inexplicably longer, you know. Indeed, now hoping that the next round brings luck! Good luck.
