Stomach cramps for NOD

Hi everyone,

I'm now in round 8 for our first baby.
My period is regular. I already had my hormones checked by the doctor via a blood test, and everything was fine.

Ovulation was around 11/22, and I'm already having period-like cramps, so all my hope for a pregnancy is gone again.
My EDD is 12/7.

Are there any other women impatiently waiting for a pregnancy? Everyone around me is getting pregnant except me.
Or are there any women who had period-like cramps a week before their EDD and turned out to be pregnant anyway? I know it's different for everyone, but I'm asking anyway

Best,
Eline

    Hi Eline,

I know that feeling, everything seems right and yet you don't get pregnant. With my first pregnancy, it also took 10 months. Have faith! It will work out.

Now we want a second child and we've been trying for 3 months again. It's been a week since my ovulation and since then I've had vague symptoms: mild cramps in my lower abdomen and sometimes even the feeling that my heart is beating in my lower belly. I had this before my previous pregnancy too, so hopefully we'll get lucky faster this time!

How are things for you now? Have you taken a test or are you already on your period? Good luck!

Hey, my period is also due today or tomorrow. After ovulation, I had constant lower abdominal pain and was feeling nauseous on Saturday and Sunday... Until I took a test on Wednesday and it was negative. I'm in cycle 4 and now moving to cycle 5. First baby, 32 years old.

    Hi everyone,
My due date is December 14th. My ovulation was around November 30th. I've had a very strange feeling in my lower abdomen for a week now. It feels a bit like I'm 'full'. Do you recognize this? Sometimes there are also little twinges or 'pops'. Pfff wanting to get pregnant can really be a bit of a mindfuck at times...
    Greetings x

    Hey everyone..
I've also been trying to get pregnant for almost a year now. I've been off the pill for 2 years. My ovulation was around Nov 29th and we had intercourse every other day.
@St2016 I'm 1 day ahead of you and have the same feeling.. I just don't know what to make of it.. and I try not to think about it too much.. I'm too afraid of another disappointment (yet another one).
I sometimes have some breast tenderness but not so much that it feels like it could be pregnancy-related. Also, I've had a lot of white discharge since my ovulation, which normally doesn't start until 3 days before my period..
We'll keep waiting, since our bodies can play tricks on us.
We've agreed that if nothing happens by February, we'll go to the GP.
I'd love to hear your experiences.

    Hi everyone

@eline: I'm also in round 8 now and sometimes I'm losing hope. I've experienced those period-like cramps in almost every round, but for you it might mean something else. I hope for you.

@shewe: Geez, 2 years already. Definitely not fun when everyone in your group gets pregnant. I'm cheering for you that this will definitely work out! A group like that sounds nice to chat with.

@laurake: Still waiting for your positive test?

@st2016: I've experienced those twinges too but no full feeling yet. It's indeed a mindfuck every month. Was so sure last month but well, now round 8.

@anoniem: Geez, been at it for so long too. Leucorrhea can always point to something positive but it's not a guarantee. Definitely can't hurt to make an appointment with the GP.

I'm just at the beginning of my new round now so it's all waiting again for my egg etc.

    Hey everyone,
I read that many of you have been trying for quite a while. Seems really tough. We're only on our first round for our second baby, and I'm already going crazy! For the past two days, my breasts have been sore... I really feel like it's a hit... I think I'll try one of those early tests soon, because I'm sooooo curious!

St2016, I know that feeling of impatience. And I do feel a bit burdened when I read how many ladies on this forum have been trying for so long. I'm also in round 1 for my fourth baby. And I'm longing for that feeling that it's a success. But I haven't had that yet.. my period starts on December 18th.

When are you going to test, St2016? So exciting!!
  9. St2016 #10

Tested this afternoon with an early predictor, but it was negative It said it should actually be done with morning urine, but I was just too impatient, silly me. There were two in the box, so I'll try again tomorrow morning.
  10. Mir4 #11

Annoying, right, being impatient? But sometimes you just can't help giving in to it. Can't wait to see what happens tomorrow!!
  11. St2016 #12

Also negative this morning... I still feel 'different'... well, wait and see, and probably after Friday (NOD) a new round...
    How are you doing?
  12. St2016 #13

I've been feeling nauseous for a few days now... took a test this morning. I think I see a heeeeeeeeel faint second line... What do you all think? (The photo is my profile picture)
  13. Puck #14

Yes, I definitely see a second line
  14. Laurake86 #15

Zantiax, no unfortunately, I got my period. Next week is my fertile window and the next period is on Jan 7th. I hope round 5 is our lucky round. I find trying, waiting, testing... exhausting.
  15. Zantiax #16

@laurake86 I feel you. I'm in round 8 here and it's not really getting any better. These are also my fertile days. Fingers crossed
  16. Laurake86 #17

Zantiax, sorry to hear that you're already several rounds behind. How's your cycle? Regular?
  17. Zantiax #18

My cycle is very regular until this day. 28 days. I can really count on it, so that's not the issue.
    What about you?
  18. Laurake86 #19

I thought so too, but it extends it by a day each time: 25, 28, 29, and last round 30 days. Pretty handy if you always have 28 days.
  19. Nibra #20

    Hello ladies,
Saturday is my due date. This is round 8 after our miscarriage in April.
I had a positive ovulation test on November 8th. On November 14th and 15th, I had a lot of period-like cramps. Also, sometimes feeling nauseous, heartburn, and burping. I also have a lot of white discharge.
My temperature fluctuates after my positive test between 36.43 and 36.91 degrees. Depending on when I wake up because of my irregular shifts.
    What do you think?
