That looks positive! Congratulations.
In a few days, it should be much clearer.

    Thanks for the replies.
I was just starting to believe it might be true, but I just lost some dark blood, so I think it’s probably a false alarm :-(

Dark blood is old blood. As long as it's not bright red blood, I wouldn't lose my mind.

It hasn't taken effect yet. I'll just have to be patient for a bit. So exciting!

Here I am again. But geez, this is so nerve-wracking.
I've done tests for 3 days in a row now (today 2 days late) and the lines are there, but they're not getting darker. Also, I lost some old blood with a small clot this morning. Does anyone know if these are signs of a miscarriage?

That doesn't mean anything at all. It could go either way.
I've been pregnant 7 times. The first 2 had no problems.
3rd one had some bleeding at 5 weeks, pregnancy continued, unfortunately at 9 weeks it turned out there was no embryo.
4th one went well, until the 9-week scan. No heartbeat.
5th one had bleeding at 5/6 weeks and a miscarriage.

6th one had regular clear red blood, clots and cramps between week 7 and 12, old blood loss. Result: she's almost 4 now.
7th one had cramps at 7 weeks, blood with clots and I was convinced it was a miscarriage. Result: over 2 years later.

For me it seems like you're walking the tests. Try to relax, you can't do anything about it. Enjoy it, you deserve it.

Thanks! It’s reassuring to know that it’s possible.
I know I should just wait and see, but it keeps bothering me. That uncertainty is so tough.

Respect for your patience! Sounds really tough if it goes wrong that often.

Be kind to yourself and find distraction in the fun things.

It was a really tough period. Fortunately, the pain is really decreasing a lot now. I enjoyed every pregnancy immensely, was very happy and joyful. Aside from the worries. I look back on those now very fondly.

The tricky part is that he! I have to be honest and say that it's indeed a bit unclear whether these tests are rising enough in combination with the light bleeding. I've had 4 pregnancies, including one ectopic last year. With that one, my tests rose very slightly after a while, and I had a 2-day bleed. Not very heavy, but there was bleeding. My last pregnancy also had light bleeding at 12 dpo despite rising tests, but the tests got darker every day and didn't fade. I hope they keep rising and you have a beautiful pregnancy!

Hey Clautjuh, thanks for your reply.
I'm still losing old blood and this morning my test was even lighter than yesterday. My partner and I have already prepared ourselves for the possibility that it didn't work out :-(. But of course, there's still a little hope. I don't have severe cramps or anything yet.
I'm so scared that it'll take more than a year again before we're pregnant. And that we'll have to go through the hospital merry-go-round starting from February... (if by then, 1.5 years later, it still hasn't worked out, we can come back).
  12. Moedertjuh #13

If the test gets lighter, it's actually not good...
But I got pregnant right after my period, so it can happen pretty quickly. And nowadays there's a lot they can do medically if needed. You can get pregnant, it turns out, so that's already a positive thing.
  13. Aardbei #14

That last part is true, yes, it's nice to know. But since I'm so close now, it hurts even more that I still don't have anything in the end.
But hey, hopefully clarity soon and good news!
  14. Aardbei #15

Hmm, we're pretty sure it's a miscarriage. Both yesterday and today, the test was very faint. Yesterday I had some light cramping, and this morning there was a little blood in the toilet. Unfortunately, it didn't work out :-(
  15. Anonymous Guest #16

That's so fucking awful. Sending you a big hug.
  16. Moedertjuh #17

Oh what a shame, you were so close. Strength (
  17. Aardbei #18

    Thank you
This afternoon at work it finally really happened. I lost a lot of blood and had pretty bad cramps. So now it's definitely over, which is somehow a relief because I had already expected it, so at least it's done. But it did have more of an emotional impact than I thought.
  18. Moedertjuh #19

Yeah, obviously, it really feels crap.
