A quick question

Amélie
I need to have my period on December 1st, and on the 26th I woke up with a drop of bright red blood in my underwear, and the rest of the day just some brown discharge, but I only needed one panty liner for the whole day (just saying, because I change it in between). Since November 18th, I've had cramps that don't stop unless I stay calm. So I'm wondering if anyone has experienced something similar. I'm going to the gynecologist on Thursday, so I'll see then, but in the meantime, I'd like some advice from you all. ????

It could possibly be implantation bleeding. That can happen a few days before your expected period. But it's certainly no guarantee, since women do bleed more often for no reason. Normally, if it was implantation bleeding, it means implantation has occurred and HCG is being produced. So you should normally be able to test positive within a few days. Unfortunately, the gynecologist won't be able to see anything on Thursday. It's too early to see anything on an ultrasound. Usually, you can only see something from 5 weeks of pregnancy onwards. Maybe you could try a test on Friday. Good luck!

Yeah, I think I'll do that. I've already bought tests that give results in 4 days. Yeah, the gynecologist knows they won't see anything because during my previous pregnancy he did an ultrasound and saw nothing, and he even asked me himself if I was sure my test was positive, hehe. And yeah, she was born at 33 weeks.

Early tests aren't always accurate, so don't get discouraged if it's not positive right away. Knowing women, you won't be able to wait until Saturday anyway But maybe you'll get a positive result on Thursday or Friday if that's how it goes. In my two pregnancies, I tested positive 4 days before my expected period because I couldn't wait. So I hope the same for you!

Yeah, I'll try to stay positive but I won't promise anything, you know. Apart from those symptoms, I don't have any more unfortunately. I was nauseous last week but not anymore now. I won't hope too much either because I don't want to be disappointed.
