Had a huge fight in front of our little girl

I wasn't there, of course. But getting a big outburst once won't traumatize your child, luckily. You explained it to her and apologized; she only learns from that. This way, she knows it's not normal. Reading this, you seem pretty shocked yourself, so next time you'll probably handle it differently. The most important thing is that you've made up with your husband too. It's not about who was right in that situation, as long as you make it clear that you'll handle things differently next time when you disagree with him. And by the way, even if your husband reacts too slowly to your child, kids also need to learn patience.

    Hi girls,

Just like Falca says, your child won't get a trauma from one outburst. The fact that you realize it and feel guilty says enough already. Unfortunately, everyone has those moments. Okay, it's not ideal, but it's certainly human. You told her it wasn't okay, and she was back to playing as you say. Don't stress about it now; you'll most likely handle it differently next time

I agree... A child who isn't used to it will likely experience it as something really bad when they see or experience something like that later in life! Don't make such a big deal out of it, and your child won't do it either. Don't worry about it.
