NANNE?

What do you think of the name NANNE? For a girl. We like names that aren't everyday/common. We have a preference for Scandinavian names because my dad is Swedish, preferably easy to pronounce and with a nice meaning. Since we own a travel agency and travel around the world as much as possible, we're looking for names with a meaning that fits this. Our son is named Stig (Stig Roman), which means traveler/pilgrim. Now we're looking for a name for our daughter and came across Nanne, which means brave traveler. What do you think of this? The middle name will probably be Florence.

It's not really my taste, but your story has me won over It's always nice when you fully stand by your name, and you sound great, so it seems clear to me Perfect fit for you two.

Not really my taste either (I don’t like names ending in -te, -ne, -ke), but it’s a lovely name with a beautiful meaning.
I do know someone with the surname Nannes, which might be worth considering.

    Beautiful name!!!

The meaning is nice, but I find the name itself less appealing.

    Congratulations!
Hmm, no, I don't think it's a beautiful name either. The sound feels unfeminine and quite plain/rustic to me.
    The meaning is nice though!

Nice name. I think it's bold but also sweet. Just go for it. Especially with this meaning, it really fits you two perfectly.

Not really my thing, but yeah... everyone has their own taste. It does have a nice background though.
I'd find Nanine or Nanda more beautiful because I think Nanne is very Dutch.

Congratulations! I think it's a great name. A variation of Hanne, Janne, or Anne.

Nanne is used as a boy's name in Friesland, so I wouldn't choose it for a girl.

    Congratulations!
I also find it a bit masculine..

    Great name though.
I personally think Niene is much nicer, for example.
