Ovutest long positive

Hi
Quick question!! I've had a positive ovulation test for days. The lines are just as thick and colored as the test line. I started feeling the rumbling and thought it was the usual ovulation. How is that possible?
I'm on cycle day 19 now. This morning 36.9 and just measured 37.9. I don't feel well. That could explain the temperature rise...

I'll take my temp again tomorrow morning

Have you taken a pregnancy test yet? Ovulation tests also react to the hCG hormone. When in your cycle did you start testing with ovulation tests?

I'm on CD 19, seems a bit early for an hcg test. I've been testing for 5 days. 5 days positive.

@Delia, it does seem too early for an hcg test. Maybe the tests are too sensitive for you? You could try a different brand. Anyway, keep tracking your temperatures—maybe that works better for you. Once you have a higher temperature for 3 days in a row, you can be pretty sure you've ovulated (on the day before the temperature rise). It's really important to always measure right after waking up, and preferably at the same time every day. Measuring in the evening is very unreliable. Your temperature in the evening is usually (much) higher than in the morning.

If you ovulated on day 12/13, you could already have hCG in your body.

I'm phrasing it wrong; I mean if you ovulated earlier and started testing with ovulation tests after that, then it could be. But yeah, it's also possible that these ovulation tests are too sensitive.

I’ve been using 2BE Sure and these don’t usually show positive results for days like normal. I used to use the Kruidvat tests though.

See the tests up to today.
My temp is 37.1 measured in the morning.

Try a different brand. If that's also positive, I'd definitely do a pregnancy test just to be sure hihi.

    Loes
My period was on October 29th and quite heavy. I've been testing every day since Monday with 2 tests at the same time, indeed.
The reason I'm testing is because my ovaries have been acting up and I feel like it's coming.

According to an app, my LH is 28 now. I don't know how reliable that is if my egg has already been released. My temp is up, so it has indeed been released. Why doesn't it drop then? I know from last month that it was really thick for 2 days and then after my egg release it went back to 1 line and a very faint 2nd line.
    I'm worried
I don't think I'm pregnant but what do I have then???

Just tested LH again (have a bunch) and it's still super thick! Almost 6 days now!

Delia, honestly, I don’t get why you’re not doing a pregnancy test? I read in another forum that you’ve been coming back to this topic again and again. Just try it, and if it’s negative, you can look into other options. (My advice) Good luck!

@Delia, I just read in the November topic that you got a light positive pregnancy test! How exciting, girl, I hope he/she grows nicely!

Loes, that's right! I've also seen that the line is really there! Now just hope it keeps showing up nicely.

    How is everyone doing here?

Well, what did I say, haha. Congratulations Delia, I hope your tests keep looking good.
