Mucus loss

Hi everyone,
I had a question. I got quite scared the day before yesterday because I had a transparent, stretchy, thick mucus plug in my underwear (sorry for the gross details). I've never had this before, and now I don't have any more mucus loss, which is weird because I usually have some, and now nothing.
I really want to get pregnant, but I haven't been trying too hard this month. I've been taking folic acid since September. Does anyone have advice?
