Pregnancy test light

Hi ladies,

We stopped the pill last month and really want to have a baby. My last period started on October 9th. I didn't feel so great starting Thursday, so I decided to take an Action brand test on Saturday afternoon. This one showed a faint line within the time limit. Since there are two tests in the pack, I thought I'd just do the other one too... Now this test was just as faint as the one from Saturday. Shouldn't the line get darker? I don't get my period until tomorrow and I'm getting a bit worried now!

    No one?

You'd best get the 2 for 5 euro packs from Kruidvat; they're very sensitive. And don't worry, some women naturally produce hCG faster than others, and a line is a line

Thank you for your reply! I also happened to pass the Kruidvat test today; there was a faint line within the time. Comparable to the Action test.

Hey girl. If you see a line within the time limit, you're pregnant. I'd just test again in 2 days to see if it gets darker. I'm rooting for you. Anyway, congratulations in advance.

For some people, the test doesn't get darker. See my profile picture. It didn't get any darker than that.

I did another test yesterday and it was even lighter! Today marks a week since the first test, so you'd think it should be a bit darker by now. But anyway, no bleeding yet, so stay positive! I'm going to get my blood drawn on Monday to check my levels. I'm really curious what the results will be. I'm a bit worried though..

The test on your profile picture is indeed not very dark, but it's definitely much darker than mine!

Did you test it again already?

A lighter test usually means that something went wrong after implantation. Unfortunately, but then your cycle is also a bit off, so the bleeding might come later. Your cycle can be a bit longer now.
