Naming after Rijk

Hi, I'm 28 weeks pregnant and we can't seem to find a boy's name. We'd really like to name him after my dad, Rijk. It's our first baby. My dad means a lot to us and he's just been through a tough year of illness.
Maybe you have some creative ideas?

    I think Rijk is really a super name. Would go for that. But if you don't want that, maybe Rik, Rijs or Rijn?

    That's true, I agree, but my husband really doesn't... so I'm really looking for something we can do with this name.

    You could also choose Rijk as a middle name, I think that's a really nice naming choice.

    Or just normally, as with naming traditions, it's given as a second name. So together choose a first name that you both like.
