Implantation bleeding or period?

Hi everyone,
I have a few questions and concerns. My partner and I are “practicing” for our first baby. I stopped taking the pill in early August. I’ve already had my period twice, but I’ve read that it can take a few months for the pill to leave your system. However, I’m now facing a problem: the first two times I had my period, it was very regular. Every time on the expected date, with heavy bleeding. This month, my ovulation was calculated for October 10th, and indeed, I ovulated exactly on that date. But since yesterday, I suddenly started bleeding. It began with a little bit of bright red blood, which turned dark brown by evening. Today, it’s bright red again… At first, I thought it was my period… but that would be a week early. The bleeding I’m having now is nowhere near as heavy as my usual period, and there are no clots (sorry…). It’s more like light to moderate bleeding, slimy and reddish-brown. I also have some minor cramps in my lower abdomen, but nothing like my usual period cramps… My question is, could this be implantation bleeding, or am I just overthinking it? …
